ANTI TROLL STATEMENT: The reason i'm on the internet now is because i'm on my old computer.

Ok, so here's the story. I got a virus on my windows 7 64 bit PC. I THOUGHT i quarantined and deleted it through McAfee, and later, my computer shut off and windows wouldnt boot. I tried a numerous amount of things; Restarting, restoring, factory image, and diagnostics. Nothing worked. Now i'm stuck with linux, which wont recognize my netgear WNDR3400 router, so i have to use my old, super slow netbook of a computer. How do i get linux to recognize my router? Is there a driver i can install offline? I have a usb device, so i can transfer downloads.

TL;DR: Im stuck with linux 11, it wont connect to my netgear WNDR3400 router, how do i make it connect?

Ohh, this is for fedora. I have ubuntu 11.04, do you have something for that? Thank you for the help by the way.

Are you connecting to the router via wireless or ethernet?

Cant connect either way

Format Hard Drive and reinstall Windows

Dunno, any pop ups when you tried to connect it?
