Author Topic: Rule 12  (Read 663 times)

Not sure if this should go in suggestions, but the rules are in this subsection, so if it needs to be moved, please move.
I am just asking for there to be a rule #12, which prevents people from asking for free blockland keys. It has become a problem in the Off Topic section, and the people asking arent learning that there is a 99% chance they will NOT get a key.
Thank you for your patience, as I am losing mine with some of these people.

Even if such a rule was established, it wouldn't stop many people from asking for free keys. The only thing such a rule would change is that if someone asked for a free key, instead of nothing happening, they would get banned.

That's my point. They get banned, people learn.
I think that is harsh.
Pay a visit to the off topic section for me, look for "demo bricks sucks"

No, I think your point is more along the lines of, "if this rule existed, people wouldn't ask in the first place." But I digress, I just don't think this rule would solve many problems. Even if the person asking for a free key does get banned, what's to stop them from making another account and doing the same thing again?

That's the same as breaking other rules.
Break rule
Get banned
New account, same rule breaking
IP ban.
If its flat out discouraged to begin with, then set into the rules, people are less likely to do it. Like robbing a bank. People don't like it, its against the law, they get punished. They do it again, they get put down harder.

I'm not going back to the Off Topic section until AwesomeBazooka and his alt, LOL :D get banned.

Don't forget TheBlocklandWolven

Now here's the deal.

If Baddy adds that rule the person gets justice.

If the person gets the key, and Baddy finds out the key was shared, the key gets justice. It will be revoked.

And the person either has to get his old key, or buy a new key.

Didn't there used to be a rule 12?
