Why not change the turrets to the ones that come from Strato's battle ship?

Because those are too short, and wouldn't be able to fire over the rails.

And besides, I wouldn't really like the look of it, they would be too small. And would be kinda taking the effort away.

Oh and I forgot to add one thing to the update, the support cables onto the bridge, those have been taken down.
The part where the support cable was now has a radar dish, and something that looks like a telephone pole (not sure what it is) and the support lines now lead to the pole.

Other than that, all I really need now is some more eventing, the crew barracks, and some interior touch ups and the save is ready to be posted.
