Author Topic: How to change download location?  (Read 4265 times)

I have an Xbox 360 and I'm trying to change the location for where I download some content. Nothing is pooping up to let me change where I download to, either the default 4gb hard drive or my external. My default hard drive is way too small and I don't know why the forget my gamer profile takes up 2gb. Anyway, someone help?

pretty sure it asks where to save stuff when you DL. maybe thats only sometimes though, idk.

it doesn't ask me. it's the ballad of gay tony, an add-on for grand theft auto iv.

It should automatically ask you, unless you dont have another memory source, in which case it will automatically save to your hard drive.

i have another one, i don't know why it won't let me choose.

if youre using a flash drive or whatever did you format it for your 360? i think you have to do that

yeah, you have to
you have to go to settings > memory or something and then select your hard drive and hit 'configure', it should do the rest for you

note it'll take up some space and delete all your files

ok, i did that. now the ballad won't download for some reason and tehre is 4gb worth of space on my usb

it's working, i just can't play anything while it's downloading or it won't work. it's loading super slow...only on 31% after 10 minutes.

Standard NZ internet takes about 1 hour for a 100 megabyte file. Stop being impatient.

I'm sorry I don't understand what NZ means when it can stand for hundreds of things.
