Author Topic: Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D Gaming for Blockland  (Read 999 times)

Has anyone ever tweeked with their NVidia settings and got their games 3D? I haven't really noticed 3D games until Track Mania said it could be set to 3D, but that was an in game option, NVidia allows some games that are compatibility to work, but not Blockland, why?

I see no Blockland
Is there a way to set Blockland as a compatible game? if not why isn't it on the list?
It would be fairly nice to have a 3D Option for Blockland, not just for gaming but pictures would be nice too.

Uh, Blockland is already a 3D game.

Pretty sure it is limited to DirectX games that nvidia has bothered hacking up their drivers to support.  I don't think there's any way to make it work for Blockland.

Pretty sure this has been asked before, but how come you can't change the Display Driver option in Blockland? It's set to OpenGL but you can't change it to anything else, why bother having it there?

3D Gaming in general is stupid

it sounds cool until you spend an hour or so on it.
then you hate it.

Then everything you see is tinted colors and you start to look like an idiot putting your hand up to your monitor wondering if its in 3D or not.

Techincally the objects in Blockland are 3D, we just view them with a 2D perspective.

And this technique creates a 3D perspective.

I haven't tried it though, lemme do so.

EDIT:  Badspot's right, it's DirectX only.  It's only worth putting in yourself if a lot of people actually have the real 3D technology, not just red/blue glasses.
