Author Topic: Decorative bricks pack has a problem with macs?  (Read 1483 times)

I honestly don't know why, but pretty much everybody with a mac says my decorative bricks pack crashes them when they look at them ingame, the file is clean...how the hell do I fix this?, it was reported for causing fatal ISV errors...

Insert a MAC file.

Tell them to get Windows

Neither of those posts help me at all, guys

Put "_Mac" at the name of the end of the file name to trick them.

I have the same problem, something to do with how macs handle the faces of the brick.

Once again, not helpful at all, seriously, can someone tell me why most every other special brick works on mac, just not these bricks? they were all made in BLB editor, if thats the problem

I was jus joking, sorry. I cannot think of any possible reason for this.

What pack?

I'll take a look.

Or is not released?

I have mac.

Ok, let's see.

I made my own server and did put the bricks in my inventory in the order they are placed in the brick menu. I started planting them and at first I didn't crash, HOWEVER the textures didn't show properly.

Console log:
http://pastebin.com/imKZ3t5n

I only crashed on one brick. The 2x2 picture frame. And I have a 15' Macbook pro running Mac OS X 10.6.8.

I don't get the unknown tex ID problem when building with them on the PC, :/

I think the tex problem is me, because the same thing happens with the extra roads pack.
