I did use my account to download it. But it keeps showing up on my Dad's account and he is getting pissed.

If you downloaded it to a folder that is shared with accounts, it might pop up. Just a suggestion, I really have no clue otherwise.

What do you mean with it showing up on his account? Does he get a notification everytime?

No, say I download Opera on my account, when he logs into his account, the Opera shortcut is on his desktop.

On some programs when you install it, it asks if you want to install it to all users and you can just uncheck that.

But for others, i'm not sure because on my old computer (before I got my own), some games and programs I installed showed up on my parent's user account as well.

Try installing for one user only if it gives the option

I think if you install it onto your actual account then it works. I've noticed that My mothers account doesnt get the shortcuts that I have if I install it directly into my account so like,

c:/users/Jake/games/Blockland :D
instead of
c:/Program Files/Blockland

I will try that. thank you.
