Name Change by means of new account?

I was wondering, Since I PM'd Baddy about getting my name changed, But he never responded. Since I don't want to bug him, I was wondering, Could I Create a new account and paste my Auth Key there? The only problem is that I wouldn't be able to modify my Mildly-Mega topic.
