Author Topic: M14x Laptop won't connect to Hisense TV using HDMI. Moniter won't switch  (Read 2801 times)

I need help from the people of the forums.
I've tried using a HDMI Cable to connect from my laptop to my TV and switched in hopes of it connecting. I cannot seem to get it connected. I've tried the display settings and it can't detect the TV with the HDMI Cable. It works fine as I've tested the cable with my PS3, but it won't work with my laptop. Help please?

Do you use RYW cables in conjunction with the HDMI? That's what I do.

We used to have RYW cables until we decided to switch to pure HDMI only. :(

Since you are saying it works fine with your PS3 having the HDMI solely, try restarting the computer, plugging in the cable, and if you are able to, change the source channel to something like AV2.

Tried restarting the computer and plugging it in. Even tried keeping it in and restarting. Both didn't work.
And how do I change the source channel?

Okay, just noticed that you don't have a Samsung TV so try looking for an input button on your remote.

It may be that you're just not on the right channel.
