Author Topic: How to compress a .ogg file without making the song shorter  (Read 7865 times)

I was wanting to put Pumped up Kicks.ogg (yea I know, gay song) but still, the file is 9.15 mb and Blocklands' .ogg limit is 1mb I believe, how would I come across compressing the file to be under 1mb without shortening/deleting parts of the song.

Export your .ogg through Audacity at a quality less than 5. I think 2 might get it down under 1MB.

How do I lower the quality of whatever you are speaking of. I exported to Ogg Vorbis and it is down to 4 mb now but how would I get it under 1mb, I am new to audacity so I am clueless with the program.

When you're exporting it, click "Options" and slide the ...slider or w/e to the left.

cant find the so called "Options" Slider
