First of all, let me say Im in love with this thing.
Why I got this stuff:
Ok, so I was walking around in walmart when I stumbled upon a pair of these headsets. At first I was like "Well, I need a headset so I can chat with some friends online, but $60.00 seems a bit expensive..." so I walked away without knowing my mum was behind me. When we go to check out, I see my mom putting the headset on the checkout thing. I was surprised that my mum would have done that. Of course I wasnt going to argue and was glad my mom did it.
How comfortable is this stuff:
How comfortable is it? VERY! I have a hard time expressing how comfortable these things are, so let me compare;
Normal headsets rest on your ears, pushing them back. After awhile of that, they really start to hurt and I end up using my earbuds.
This turtle beach headsets are completely different. Instead of the speakers resting on your ears, your ears actually fit inside of them (if that makes sense.)
Best of all, I cant even hardly feel the damned things! I sat there listening to the Yogscast for about an hour when I had to go eat dinner. I had actually forgotten they were on, and I felt fine when I took them off.
The Price:
Eh. This is one thing I disagree on. I honestly think 60 dollars is a bit much for these and I wouldnt have bought them if my mom didnt.
If I had the choice to choose the price I payed, I would have payed 40, max.
Audio Quality:
Nothing too special about this, it sounds just like any other headset would.
Overall:
Excellent quality overall and they feel very sturdy.
If I were to give a numerical rating, I would give it 9/10. As I said in the beginning, im absolutely in love with these things, but I knocked a point off because of the price :x
If you have 60 dollars laying around, I would definitely buy these. They work for the xBox and Pc (Havent tried Ps3 yet).
