Author Topic: changing theme made blockland faster o_O (Read 1953 times)

I was tired of these graphical glitches, and thought maybe it was the transparency on vista (since some stuff isnt compatable with the transparancy), so i turned it off, and turned off all effects, and changed the theme to windows classic, and the server loaded in less than a second :O but i still have graphical glitches :(

Well, duh! Turning down effects only affect your loading times, since your PC has less to load. If you still get glitches, it's probably because of:
-Vista
-Bad PC components.

Just wondering about Vista, Can you change the theme to the XP theme sorta like on XP where you can change it to the First Version.

Know Vaster, put 2 and 2 together. You both have Vista. Vista screws up games.

We both have ATI. We both have the same driver (i think). Blockland works on my other vista that has intel graphics. You put 2 and 2 together

Its the Vista driver, its both ATI and Vista's fault, and i'm hoping they fix it.

Where do you mention the other computer in the first post? Now, listen, Vista is known to mess up games(2), and ATI hasn't full developed Vista drivers(2). So we are both right. Why not just play on the other computer?Lol.

it got struck by lightning and I got this (better) one. ATI naturally hates open gl anyways, and I did mention my other computer, just not in that or this topic :D

lol, what is this 'first version' you refer to packer? You mean Windows 98? That was not by far the first version. There was 95 and 3.0 back in the day. Thought I'd inform you. :)
