Author Topic: Flood Evac :C  (Read 702 times)

There's a flood going on and the dam holding back all the water might break, causing more major flooding everywhere. I'm going to have to leave everything (Besides my mother (Possibly)) behind to go God knows where for God knows how long.
I wasn't minding it at first, but now they're telling us to leave, and I'm a bit scared.
This was a rushed topic because I just got the news we had to leave.
Wish me luck guys :C

Don't die.

I hope everything goes okay, jokey.

Take your most valuable, non water proof objects. IE: photos, computer, game console, camera, documents, paper money and or change. Passports are important if you have them.

Yes.

Flooding is actually getting serious.  I have no worries, but outlying areas near me are getting flooded.  Towson is on a hill, however...

Dayum, hope everything works out and nothing happens.

Yeah, flooding has become a problem around here too.

The Ohio river flooded it's banks yesterday and a bunch of people had to move to a higher place. I live on a hill so I have no flooding problems. The point (where our three rivers meet) was almost completely flooded. We only have small dams, two of them, and they have yet to overflow/break. Just last week, flooding on Washington Ave caused the road to open up and killed 4 people. It was so high, that it went up to 9 feet deep. I am a bit worried about the dams, but they withstood a massive flood in 2003 so hopefully everything will be okay.

Tallest spot in the neighborhood = my house

What's with all the floods?
