Trust me, try to avoid anything with an Atom processor.
Even a much lower speed AMD E-series will stomp all over it, both for gaming and multitasking.
It's all in the new bulldozer architecture.

I know it's a bit overpriced, but you wouldn't regret it if you could get it.

Looking at RAM and HDD, you can got a 15.6' laptop for $350 with better specs. Does it have to be netbook small? Like seriously, I hate how small those screens are.

From what your wanting to do, you should get at least get one with ua 12 inch screen. I had this really good Asus one with a ton of memory on it. But I could never get TF2 to run on it.(It had a 1.8 dual core processor and the next-gen nvidia ion in it though)

Yeah, that pretty much describes netbooks.

If it has nVidia Ion, it has an Intel Atom. This combination sucks.

I got a dell Latidtude 2110 it runs alright kinda slow at startup charges quickly 1.60 ghz proccesor not good for games but eh

The reason I have it s because the school issued it to me (At the end of the school year  Ican buy it for $5) :D $50 for  using during year $5 to buy at end $400 retail

I'll keep my eye on that for now. It looks pretty sleek, and it fits what I'm looking for.

Thanks Ethan.

Netbook
If possible, can run Source games at med-low quality.
Price range - meh, anywhere between $200-$400

This wont happen.

This wont happen.
It'd be possible with the one I suggested.
They don't consume much of anything.

Netbooks can hardly do any gaming.  Maybe flash or heavy 2D at most but nothing even remotely decent.  Pisses me off all the time when I'm sitting at school, a bunch of kids have these really cheap netbooks, not even $500 ASUS ones which are semi-decent, and they're all whining about how they can't play Minecraft 1.8 because of their third world netbook.

Netbooks are purely for on-the-go things and long-ass battery lives, and just web browsing/notetaking, etc.  They're useful for school unless you're one of those people that have to play games at school.

I couldn't agree with you more.
Sadly, no can remember I already have a decent gaming rig, and that gaming on a netbook for me is optional. I can entertain myself with a loving calculator for hours on end. A netbook during school would be like handing an african child a ship full of 10 bazillion lego blocks, and telling him to make a house.

Plus I could use it for several other purposes at home, because a lot of tasks I try to do involve more than 1 computer.
