So, is there a way to adapt this to be put into other GUI elements, like, say, a map selection screen?

Yeah, the problem is just like Greek2Me said, it doesn't have a parent. Even if you put it inside a Window. The only way to get around this is: making the window Unmoveable.

EDIT:
New Picture:

Got the Movie Screen into the Window. And made the Window unmoveable so the movie Screen wont fly somewhere in the screen.
Seems working all right now. And i try to add a script that will if i click on Window minimize, same for maximize the video also minimizes and maximizes.

Yeah. But don't forgot one thing, the videos will be maybe really big. And as i just noticed i found an folder Client_Juice.zip which was 56MB big. That crashed my Blockland somehow or sometimes it was very slow.

Also im releasing later, a add-on(Client_MATest.zip) only here!(Not on RTB, because it is useless). I start my Server, and if you enter then(with my Client_MATest.zip) then a GuiAviBitmapCtrl should appear. If it doesn't you can post it here or later. Now time for scripting to get it set up. (Don't expect much. The video will be not big, and it is just a intro for testing how videos work in Blockland.)

Someone should take Eksi's blockland trailer, and have it show up when blockland runs, and also have an option to skip it on startup, or skip it whenever you want
