Author Topic: Unable to open database? v20  (Read 1217 times)

It has a bad URL I can already tell.

Users/Owner/My Documents/Blockland\\cache.db

Unable to open Database.

Ummm what now?

Ooops said it wrong

Users\Owner\My Documents\Blockland//cache.db

Also there is NO blockland folder in My Documents.

Same problem here!

Uninstalled Blockland

and now when I want to install there is a new version. V20. I install it and guess what. JUST A USLESS LAUNCHER PROGRAM THAT DOES NOTHING

Are you able to manually create folders in your "My Documents" folder?

Are you able to manually create folders in your "My Documents" folder?

Yup, but I'm going to reinstall Blockland after viewing the recent "Sticky" you posted. I will lock if this has no future issues but for now it's unlocked.

Actually I found a problem:

The Directory is wrong and also the game will not create folders.

Users\Owner\My Documents\Blockland//cache.db  <--- Why does it say Blockland// ???

This is not a problem.

Does C:\Users\owner\My Documents actually exist as a folder or is it a shortcut?

Oh shiznet!

My Documents folder was just named "Documents"

Im locking this.  Thanks again Badspot. :D

Oh and also Badspot:

I would recommend letting Windows 7 users / Vista users to check and see if there "My Documents" is named "Documents".

If so, tell them to change it from "Documents" to "My Documents".

A solution was found for this post, it was locked!
