Author Topic: Electronic Music General Megathread  (Read 4416 times)

Ok so I went to the most popular dubstep forum I could find and the Brits there straitened me out. You guys were right all along. However I just want to say I hate the term brostep because I still relate it to Skrillex and Doctor P more than anything.

also;

Laser Techno is mostly known only inside Germany, It's like Funky Trance.

I made a topic here with a few links, mostly to Laserkraft3D because I haven't found anything else.

Looking at the definition of brostep, I honestly don't see how Skrillex can be considered brostep. But I mean, I'm not about to argue about that.

However, I'm for certain that emancipator is NOT brostep. Not in the least.

Chillout Electronic and any dark, heavy electro stuff (Darkstep Dnb, Dubstep, etc.) <3

what does that even mean
why can't people use real music terms?
rather than this handicapped stuff, I don't even know what a bar is
a measure?
I don't even know

take some god damn music theory classes if you're going to do this sort of stuff

Erm, are you joking? A bar IS the correct musical term and is a major part of music theory.
