Author Topic: I feel like a brain surgeon  (Read 508 times)

I'm ordering a new screen for my HP Tm2 soon. The buy is cheap because it simply comes with the screen panel, not the entire assembly. Therefore I decided to explore a little before I buy the new screen.

I disassembled the entire laptop down to this:

All I can say is: Lots of screws, lots of snap-together parts, lots of fragile ports. Very fragile.

I also appear to have 1 screw that I must have forgotten to put in. Hmm.

seems like if i dropped it more than 2 feet it would instantly shatter every piece of electronic equipment in there

still, its nice though.

You're not really the brain surgeon. You're the guy that cuts the skull off so the other guy can root around in there.

jesus christ mack if you had a room full of all your computer tech you could pawn it for all the money in the world

You're doing it wrong if there isn't at least 1 screw loose after disassembling a computer then reassembling.
It always happens. Desktops, PlayStations, even car engines.
Laptops are amazing for it. Lolll
