Tools Problem

 I have a problem with opening tools in singleplayer. When I press Q for my tools it will never open. I tried the next day and still did not open my tools. Also, my tools bar is off the screen. Please help!

Go to options and make sure you didn't accidentally assign "use tools" (I think that's what it is) to something other than Q
