Author Topic: Mikes burning some DVDs, what to use and will they work?  (Read 513 times)

Alright, so I'm looking for advice from anyone who's done this before, I have 10 gb of video to burn onto 3 4 gb disks, they are DVD-R

First off, what can I use that's free to convert windows player files to a file compatable to DVD players? Im using a PS3

Second: Are there any programs that allow for creatin interactive menus? I want to avoid having to fast forward to certain points, and would rather have a scene select of sorts

Third, will DVD-r work on ps3?

Thanks in advance, and if anyone has done this before and has any tips that would be great.

I know that Pinnacle Studio 12 has a title menu/chapter selection feature

If you have Vista or Better. Theres a Built in one Called Windows DVD Maker(also best bet is to split the video files). I think Cyberlink has an app for that too.

Also i think windows does it automatically on their DVD maker.

Yes DVD-r Will work

Buy some nice 4 hr long dvd that hold 8gb of memory and try to compress the video then google how to burn andvd on windows.
