Author Topic: My writing when I was little  (Read 362 times)

I found some journals in my bookshelf ranging from pre-school to 3rd grade. Apparently, I had VERY bad handwriting and grammar. This is some stuff:

Authors pupose
Why an author choses to write a story. to persuade.,
1                    get you to do somthing
2  to inertain-   to tell a good story,
rikshon (I don't know what I wrote here.)
3   to imform- to taech you
             facts
             nonficshon

Another page:

1 because it mean polar bear
   and he loves polar bears.

2 he wishes aputik(?) good
   luck in the race.

3 to selabrait aputik luck
   for the dog sleed race

4 I would because I love
snow and to play on it

I remember a story we had to write in 1st grade. I don't know where it is, but I think I remember enough:

once threr whas this blue guy. he found a time machine one day! He traveled back 10000000000000000000000000000 0000 yers and wen he got ther he fell off a legde and landad on  the floor 100 feet down! he said does anyone have a bandage!? he found gold down there! he went forwerd in time and was richh. THE END!!!!!

Hold on
Some stuff from 2nd grade journal

Today I got a new journal.
Today is a half day of school. I made a snow man at my Grandma's house. I made a little       guess who. Today I have a lunch. We might get to play clock bingo. We got new jobs. I got the same job Yesterday. I didn't get my name on the board. Today we got our choice for journals. In 7 more months I will be 9. Today I will play guess who. It is a fun game. My dad has to go to road island. I can't wate for Easter. I want to play football. I might go to Jay's house.

I dont think anything changed...

Its funny if you read every letter regardless of the spelling.Like when I saw someone misspell "misspell" and said misseplled

Mis-sep-led

anyways yeah I don't have outstanding spelling now all the time but my spelling back then wasn't very bad I'd say
