anyone know why comcast is being a bitch?

so my family is half handicapped and insures that comcast is the best internet that we can get but im pretty sure its not. about once a week our connection to the internet is dropped for about 15 minutes. customer support is no help as "they cant do anything" and how they have to send out a representative. anyone know a way to fix this?

ive used every kind of internet there is, from all over the country.

and every one of them, i gotta unplug the modem like bi weekly for some random stuff reason.

however we all suck it dry with downloading and gaming, on a specialized router. im sure we forget it up out of use. capping bandwidth n stuff.
