Should add-on and map sections become immune to the "too old" rule?

I really don't think Add-on sections should have that too old rule apply to them. Once an add-on reaches the too-old limit no one will be able to bump that add-on. This also means the add-on is basically dead since no one can bump the topic and allow others to view it from the first page.

What do you guys think?

What I ment is that some people are too stupid to use the search function and go on searching for add-ons for countless of hours, and I think that this will make it worse.

Well if the add-on has a name you never heard of you will never find it in the search function.

Hit or miss idea. The best add-ons will be more available, but many add-ons will get hardly any attention.

If the RTB add-on service implemented the too old rule about half of the add-ons would be inaccessible.

Except you can't bump add-ons on RTB, so there's no point in a too-old rule.

All my maps would be titled '¥§ɷȶʅ (Map name).

How about an add-on section that has optional sorting by alphabetical, types and dates?

What if
There was a legit Add-On uploading System.
This would basicly remove all signs of spam because it would check it for being a valid Add-On.
It would also become immune to the "tool old" rule because they would be in sections.

Maybe not that exactly, but I do like the Idea Lord Tony, what about a request system, for a post to be un-"too-old-locked". Possibly only able to by done by OP?
