Graphic design inspiration needed (!)

So in my current graphic design class, we're working with Photoshop, and I've already made two or three decent images, but I am completely lost on any ideas for what the next one should be. Serious and silly suggestions are all considered, not taken.

The first one, making fun of Apple while loving Bloo:



The second, a quick mockup of a new logo for from dust: (yes it's terrible I know)
