Author Topic: Server ping is ---, even with port forwarding and non-firewall  (Read 790 times)

Title says it all. Sorry, but I'm getting kinda frustrated with Blockland. It's a good game, but it would be great if I could be able to run a server that people can join!

Make sure "Disable UPnP" is on if your ports are forwarded.

Wait, someone says they can't join my server, the ping is ---. Is that their fault?

Have you tried running the server with upnp and no ports?

I had the same problem, My router has officially forgeted up when it comes to forwarding TCP ports, it just wont work.

Just un-forward the ports, and the blockland master server will put it up and working without requiring pf'ing.

I run mine without upnp and I haven't forwarded ports. No problems here. May just be your computer hating on blockland?

I tried everything in here and I had no luck. Though, one way of hosting is connecting your ethernet cable directly into modem, but it'll be less secure.

I know. One day I wasn't able to psot servers, the next, day, I had people joining!

Never mind. Turns out the port mapping setting was deleted.
