Author Topic: Windows Explorer has stopped working.  (Read 661 times)

So recently I got the Windows Security Center 2012 virus, I ran it through malwarebytes and it was removed. But now when I start up my computer I'll get the Windows Explorer.exe has stopped working error message, along with a restart about 10 times before it stops. I open up my window of running process and it tells me that it's still running via QBJ.exe which is impossible because the program itself no longer starts up or gets in the way. Does anyone know what to do?

Restart it with task manager, file>new process "explorer.exe". If that doesn't work, restart in safemode with networking, go into control panel, set it to show hidden files and folders, then search your C drive for the QBJ.exe thing, and delete it.

Why is everyone getting Antivirus Rogues and viruses all of a sudden?

Random thought, but someone should make a virus protection program called Condoms or something.  :cookieMonster:

Man that was stupid.

I'll show myself out.
