I downloaded Terragen and DRPG, put 'em in the addons folder, but when I try to play DRPG or use terragen, I can't get it to work. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

No, DRPG is the client. You need to join a server with the actual mod.
And you need to keybind terragen.

Oh! Okay, thanks I get it now... so can I run DRPG if I get the mod?

You're not getting the mod, so no.
But you can play it on other servers.
