Author Topic: Relays take time to travel?  (Read 666 times)

So, I'm trying to make a device that lets me control the music that's playing throughout a large area using three music bricks on the three main segments.
Ive found that depending on where I activate the relay that tells the music brick what to play, different gaps form in the music loops. If I activate the three music bricks from somewhere that is not in the center of the three, a delay appears that is related to how far the brick was from the activation point. The delay is greater, the farther the brick is from the activation.

Does this mean that event relays take time to travel? Or is this exclusive to music playing?

Relays do take time to travel. They're designed like that on purpose.

Relays automatically have a delay of 33ms.

Then why cant I get this to work? The farther I activate both named bricks, the larger the wait between both become.

The relays are invisible projectiles if you use the n/e/s/w ones :c

Since I have never heard of n/e/s/w relays, I don't think I use them.

He means fireRelayNorth,, South, etc.

Oh then no, I'm not using those relays.
I'm using setMusic with named bricks.
