Author Topic: Bamboo tablet refuses to turn on when I plug it in.  (Read 1274 times)

I just tried plugging my Bamboo tablet in to draw a little bit, and when I did, the blue light blinked a couple times, then it shut off. I tried unplugging, then plugging it back in again. This time, the light stayed solid, but when I used the pen, the mouse cursor wouldn't move. I looked back down at it, to find that it was off again. I've emailed Wacom, and I'm in the process of redownloading drivers, but Wacom says that it'll take them 3 days to get back to me.

Can anybody help me out here?

oh my god
(something similar to) this happens to me too
and ive only had it for about a month
I think it's something with the cord

I've only had mine for two weeks.

Now that I look at the cord, I think it is that.

I'm kinda pissed.

we are brothers in defective-cords
let us journey to best buy or something
and buy new cords

I also have a Bamboo (Fun Pen & Touch), and I personally did have this problem once a while back.
Just restart your computer after unplugging the tablet, and plug it back in again.

Did that earlier. Still happens.

It's not doing it as often anymore, but it still does it.
