What about that movie with Arnold schwartznegger and his clone? Total recall? That would be a big issue with cloning
Total Recall is the one where Arnie is on Mars.
The one you're thinking of is
The 6th Day.
I've never seen the I, Robot movie.
Is it as good as Forrest Gump?
It's completely different.
I, Robot is about a futuristic world inhabited by robots with AI, and are used by men.
They have certain rules in their AI which prevent them from doing certain things, such as hurting people or doing anything which would lead them to break any of their rules.
And basically, the AI in one model becomes able to overcome these rules and a robot uprising by these models is started.
And the only person who can stop it, is the Robo-Phobe Police Detective, Will Smith, who has a hatred of Robots due to a tragic event earlier in his life.
So, it's a good film, but it's not possible to compare it to Forrest Gump.
Very different. And Forrest Gump was a cult hit. I, Robot was good, but it doesn't quite match up in popularity.
Personally, I agree with the cloning of organs and tissue for use in medical surgery, but it would need to be perfectly tested out.
I don't think you'd ever truly get the cloning of complete humans off of the ground, simply because of the moral implications. Which you might say restrict science, but when it comes down to it, I don't see a reason to actually clone a human person. It wouldn't be much afterwards other than an issue of controversy.
