Author Topic: Faces Get Mixed Up When Playing Blockland (Read 1795 times)

Hi, everyone. This problem has happened for a LONG time now. And I just can't seem to figure it out. Sometimes the faces work fine, others don't.

It mostly happens with actual packs of decals made by the community, but sometimes it doesn't.

Here's what the console says:

ERROR: File /thumbs/memeGrinMan" is not in one of the default directories
ERROR: File "thumbs/memeGrinMan.jpg" is not in one of the default directories
ERROR: File "thumbs/memeGrinMan.png" is not in one of the default directories

ERROR: File "/memeGrinMan" is not in one of the default directories
ERROR: File "/memeGrinMan.jpg" is not in one of the default directories
ERROR: File "/memeGrinMan.png" is not in one of the default directories
Could not locate texture: /thumbs/memeGrinMan (download failed, using default texture)

Please help :c

Also, I'm not the only one who has had this problem. Maybe it's just a BL bug with the patcher? Or maybe it's just that I have to re-install...

It seems to happen to most face packs I download. So I have the same problem, the icon screws up and the face in game is changed to a random default.

It is an annoying bug. I bet it has to do with some addon interfering with the faces.
I expect it to be ZAPT..

Try removing Fillcan that should work hopefully.

Fillcan is an old, old mod and over the time Ive had it, Ive never had an issue with faces/decals in this way.
I don't think its the issue.

when i had this problem before someone i saw some old topic one post said remove fillcan and that worked for me.

The face pack either doesn't have a thumbs folder, or any images in the thumbs folder.

This is not the problem. ALL faces that are not default, (Including ones that I made, and I know I made correctly) don't work all the time. Granted they work, but they break every now and again.

Its not a missing Thumbs Folder.
If the thumbs folder was missing, the face pack would never work.

Faces without thumbs folder still work, and all the faces that I've made/downloaded work just fine. But I didn't realize this was a default face, and I'm getting these errors too. I have all default faces, and they work, but when I click on the face the little box that shows which face is selected is just blank in most cases.

Actually it is. It only occurs every like 30 days now... But I also had this prob with B1AK3's Decals and after I deleted it t was fine :P

Seems that ZAPT is breaking slowly with the new updates..
Its a shame because its the only zombie mod I find to be fun.
