Open Links In New Tabs For Safari?

I've recently started using Safari because Chrome is crashing way to much, and Firefox is a bit slower than Chrome or Safari, but the one think I don't like is that when I click on a link it opens an new windows instead of a tab. I've Googled this and there are fixed for Mac, but not Windows, which is what I'm using. Anyone know a way to change this because it's not in the options anywhere.

That works but I won't want to start middle clicking every link just to open it.

Also, apparently there's a mini-fix to stop Chrome from crashing on YouTube. Before you navigate away from the video, right click the player and select 'Stop Download'.

I don't see what's so hard about middle mouse clicking. You have to move your finger all of 1cm.

I'm so used to not having to middle click. Plus whenever I usually middle click I don't have it switch to that tab because it's something I will look at later or something, but since "open for later" and "open for now" would be the same button, it's just not very convenient. And because I'm lazy.
