Author Topic: Help creating indestructable bricks  (Read 3753 times)

I've been working on a project every now and then in blockland, and i've noticed that the break ability of a brick is pretty much determined by its size and the transparency of its paint. Now i was wondering since i really cant use huge bricks 100% of the time, if there was a way to make bricks unbreakable in mini games via a paint or a custom script. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Disable Brick Damage.

XD
He's talking somthing about creating a script so they can't be destroyed, then you just say " disable bricks damage"
XD

i meant more of specific bricks unbreakable while others are still breakable, lol

I suppose you could do a wand-type thing...

wand.
type the damage it takes to destroy brick in chat box.
yay

without the wand model alo would not have made all the killer mods of the world  lol!

Would someone mind explaining how i would go about using the wand to do it, as far as i know the wand can destroy any blocks you made with it.

no, it would have to be made as a mod.. hes saying it would be using the wand model again

oh, i see, ok, ill look into it then, thanks much.

A certain arrangment of bricks also helps. I found that single bricks placed alone would be destructible, while combined with others in a certain pattern would make them indestructible. I haven't looked into it very much however.

I want this for DM builds, so that built-in terrain and large buildings can be invincible while prop-type things can be blown up.

ya, ive noticed that as well, forgot to mention it though, usually if a blocks connected to a more sturdy block, then its harder to destroy.

I guess you could check on collision if a certain varible is so and so....
uhm... ill get right on the mod before you come to my house with torches
