Author Topic: Will L4D and L4D2 run...?  (Read 859 times)

Considering using this 50% Valve coupon on the $30 bundle.

I'd just like to at least be able to run it on 800x480 or 640x480 on the lowest possible settings. If I might be able to go higher, please say so.

Get it or don't get it? :s

I want to know if it's playable, and not if it just runs.
"Playable" to most everyone I've ever asked here is 60 FPS. lol

For me I'd consider 20+ playable.

Hahaha.
You'll get 7 fps on lowest.
Your processor is great, your video controller isn't good.
My brother has the exact same specifications as your laptop. He can't play it without BSoDing or it crashing to desktop.
I'll ask him later for the programs he used to get L4D1 working around 17 fps

That says I cant run L4D. I can run it perfectly, no lag at all. (Lowest settings, not fullscreen. Intel GMA X4500 Graphics)

Here is proof it says I "Cant" run it.

it says my geforce 6200 can run it, but all the lighting is borked
CYRI shouldn't be trusted. Look up videos of gameplay for said video card.

CYRI works perfectly for me. :c

bitch please
his processor is better than mine
and for a latitude that makes my computer's processor look like a $20 processor

Your RAM is so terrible I want to cry

I understand that 4GB is the standard, but all my computers run excellently at 2GB.
Anything higher than 4GB is overkill.
