how the forget do i get this bamboo pet stuff into the pen

whoever has a bamboo tablet
you know how it came with that little zip lock thing with the little black cylinders/bars?
yeah okay apparently you're supposed to MAGICALLY put the little black bars into the pen somehow
it's like the lead
but after a few minutes of raging and trying to pry the pen open careful inspection, i can't find ANY loving way to get this little stuff in there
i also don't know how to get the original little black bar that's currently in the pen out.
i. uh. did stuff to the pen and now the little black bar that's in it right now doesn't work.
so how do i get the original cylinder thing out and put the new one in?
