Can't edit brickTOP image?

Sorry to be kinda noobish on this. And I have searched this, and I got no results...

Is that, I can't edit any of the images in shapes. When I replace anything, it gets switched and removed with the default blockland image. Any thoughts on fixing this?

If you set the files to read-only, they will not be replaced.
If you want the files back, switch them to normal, and the default textures will be downloaded.

Just type base/data/shapes/brickTOP.png in ignored.txt

Nevermind, I keep forgetting that ignored.txt is a feature of my custom launcher, and not something default.

Either use this add-on and place your file in config/content/data/shapes/brickTOP.png:
