Author Topic: What's wrong with AMD?  (Read 405 times)

I don't know why a lot of people criticize AMD cards. I have one in my gaming computer and I've run stufftons of games at the highest settings with good framerates. It's never overheated, either.

because their opengl support is absolute stuff

Well, currently, their dual GPU card is the fastest single card on the market. Their top two single GPU cards both are better than nVidia's current top card.

Nothing is wrong, it's just fanboys being fanboys. Don't worry lol. I've never had problems with either of my dual-6990 setups.

team green for life real talk #swag

They're wayyyyy behind in the processor race but they definitely are leading the GPU race. I'd like to see amd and intel merge and intel focus on CPUs and AMD focus on GPUs.

amd is like a 5 star chef who makes absolutely amazing soup. ask him to do a salad or steak, though, and he comes out with a burnt mess.
nvidia is like the chef at your local restaurant who isn't the greatest chef, but he makes pretty damn good food and knows plenty of recipes.

THEN I GUESS MY ANSWERS HAVE BEEN QUESTIONED
