Author Topic: Help with Key!  (Read 648 times)

I don't know if someone already asked this but, it is about the authentication key of Blockland.

I recently bought it on my friend's house, and activated the key there. I'm still on my friends house, but what I am afraid of is that if I want to play Blockland in my house, I cannot play because I activated the key in my friends house. Explaining: I bought the key, and activated it. I want to know that if I run Blockland and use the same key I used to activate, will I be able to play?

It won't matter. As long as you delete the key from your friend's computer and don't keep switching between your computer and his.

You can switch between different computers.
But you can't play at the same time if the computers use different IP adresses...

You can switch between different computers.
You can't, Butler is right.

You can switch between different computers.
You can only switch between computers on the same LAN. If two computers are assigned to the same key on different IP addresses, then the key will be disabled.

Delete the key.dat file or reenter spam as a key when changing computers. I'd recommend not using two different computers anyway (ie. friend comes to YOUR house), simply because it brings up issues like this.

You can. Quote from FAQ:

Q: Can I loan my key to a friend?
A:
Your Authentication Key is what identifies you online. It represents your Blockland purchase. Loaning it to people is generally a really bad idea because only one of you can use it at a time.

Before you know it, your "friend" has given it to someone else and they've given it to 10 other people and you can never get online because your key is always in use.
So, you can, but only one can play at a time.
