Which makes it all the more strange why the initial tree wasn't made to high detail.

Very basic build you have here. I think I can see the duplication pattern, looks like a hook shape.

Nice idea though.

You should explore more advance ways of developing trees. I believe there is a cherry blossom included in a default slate save.
