My dad grounded me for spring break. Here's the reason.

• Monday

- I tell my dad i'm going to my friends house.

• Tuesday

- My friends don't pick me up.

• Wednesday

- My friends pick me up and my dad says I didn't tell him.

You told him Monday, not Wednesday. If anything you should have retold your dad on Wednesday that you were leaving. Also, I'd ground my kid if I knew he was sneaking off to break laws.
