this might be a bad brown townogy, but if you understand the dangers of war and you know you can't handle it psychologically, you're still at fault if you enlist and go crazy and murder 18 people.
It's like drunk driving. Physically you aren't responsible, but you are responsible for creating the circumstances necessary to be unable to drive correctly.
even if you don't hold this guy accountable AT ALL, he's still too dangerous to be in public and the cause of it shouldn't impact the punishment (Is being incarcerated in an asylum a punishment?)
This is more directed to people who literally think this guy should be able to walk free just because it was the stress of war that caused him to go batstuff crazy.
