Author Topic: What are all of the parts needed (and additional optional parts) to build a comp  (Read 909 times)

Floppy disk is optional if you want to read old floppy diskettes
You definitely want a chassis (also known as a case)
An offboard video card is optional if you're going to do any gaming or not
If you have a monitor mouse and keyboard you won't need to buy another one
you're also using an overpriced website to obtain a general price range, what country do you live in

Why not, do they get dead pixels easily or something?

Rather than using pixels they actually project the image onto the glass which is why they are so long and bulky.
A super cheap flatscreen usually has better quality than CRT monitors. Plus looking at them gives some people (like me) a headache because it's flickering too rapidly for you to notice. Which is why they look weird on camera.

Why would you want a floppy disk? They only hold up to 1.44MB and are extremely outdated.
