Load complex looks goddarn good.

Do you have slate nova?

Load complex? What you see there is just part of the shuttle.  Launch complex 39 A is the launchpad.

too bad the space shuttle suucks

no but nice build :P

How exactly does the space shuttle suck?

Started working on the launch pad flame trenches.  Also I have been looking for dimensions for the Mobile Launch Platform for about 30 minutes, if anyone can find those it would be much appreciated.

You got the shape down pat, no question asked. You should scale it up though, I think IRL shuttles are pretty big.

The builds are the correct size.  I used plans and dimensions off the internet to measure everything out.

You used my scale. lol

It costs around $500m per launch (which is quite high relative to other launch systems), and can only reach LEO. and it's not even good at reaching LEO - per kilogram of cargo it's much, much more expensive than any other launch vehicle. It's also much more dangerous than a traditional rocket. It's old technology, designed in the 70's (?). It's caused NASA to stagnate in many respects. Had we kept using the Saturn V rocket, we could have done 6 missions, 2 of those to the moon, per year on the same budget as the space shuttle (and by the way, a Saturn V can lift much more cargo to orbit than the shuttle). The original concept might have been good, but the final product hasn't performed well at all. It's good to see it retired.

Me and RMS were using it on the AN 225, so I decided to use it on this.

Also, I started this once. I miss it.

Gosh I hate brick-built vehicles. They're such a pain in the ass to make, for me. Never really got into it.
