I'd like a scene-for-scene rename using modern graphics stuff, but then they'd bullstuff with that feature... Just... All bullstuff, no matter the case. forget them.

I absolutely love Total Recall, despite all the silly parts of the plot I just love it.

This trailer so far seems to show nothing at all that is similar to it.
I've seen people shooting guns and driving hover-cars.

For all I know this film could easily enough be a remake of Fifth Element.
I'd prefer to let the classic live as it is.
It's not Total Recall without Arnie, Mutant Chest Twins, Three-tittied Prossies and a Black guy with 5 kids to feed.

According to the top comments, the movie is trying to be more like whatever book it was based off. Trying to be more faithful to that. In that case... Well okay then, that sounds noble. Lets see how THAT turns out...
