That background is horrible for presentations.  Use simple backgrounds, don't try to draw attention just to the background.  Use Office 2010 too, dear lord.

can't do. All our microsoft software is on 2003 (office, word, PowerPoint, etc.). They refuse to update to newer versions for some reason. And the project has to be on power point for some reason. And I was planning on changing the background anyways.

2010 gives you a lot better pre-built themes to work with.  I used to make all my backgrounds/styles/etc. in 2003 but now I just choose one of the defaults and because I'm like the only person using 2010 I look so much cooler than everyone else.

I have 2010 for my home computer but the school doesn't so I can't use it.
