Got another one from a family RP.
I was a stray dog, and I was walking around. Some guy ran me over with a car. Someone else came up to me and wanted me to go with them. I bit them and limped off(car guy said he killed me, so I just said my leg was broken). They followed me, and after I kept snarling and biting at them, they tried to run over me. Later on, they went back to trying to help me. Now, think about this: dog gets hit by car and is in shock, and has a broken leg. Guy comes up to terrified dog and expects dog to gladly come with him. Guy tries to runs over dog, again. Guy then tries to help terrified dog again. Do you really think this dog, who's just been traumatized by a sudden car running over them, is going to come to someone who also tried to run over them? So I talked to him OOC for a bit about how dogs work and how dogs act when scared. He doesn't seem to understand but we continue. Eventually, he gets out of the car and crouches, saying "I learned that if you crouch low a dog will come to you". He did not listen to anything I said about dogs being traumatized. I told him that since I just got hit by a car, I'm scared of people, no matter how low they are. He told me to be realistic. I hobbled away and ignored him. Eventually, he got angry and left.
TL;DR: Don't try RPing with a stray if you don't understand how dogs work.
