Downloading blender now.

EDIT: the only thing I'm worried about is Symmetry.
Blender has a mirror modifier.

I have a hard time with milkshape and it's not free, I suggest blender.  Free, open source and can export directly to TGE .dts

Unfoturnatly at the moment you need an older version of blender because blender recently updated it's scripting lanuguage.

Wings 3D is pretty easy, but it isn't able to export to .dts in it. :(
