I need help with a video editing program

I'm trying to speed up some clips for a video, and WMM is being a bitch. Is there another program out there that's free?

One that allows you to speed up clips and add music.

VideoPad lets you add multiple layers of audio, so that's pretty nifty, right? I think you can also download custom effects and such but i'm not sure

Well, the AVI clips I'm trying to speed up are each over a half hour to an hour long.

It's a recorded coloring process of mine. ;-;

It seems that WMM has a problem dealing with AVI clips that are over 20 minutes long. But it doesn't have that problem with MP4 files. I guess I'll just convert them.

But the converter I used to use is forgeted up. :C

I need to find a new one.
