Doing some research, still not sure about whether or not Mac's support this type of thing. The Nvidia site does not provide drivers for Macs.

9500 GT
you're not alone mistuh

So, it looks like the GTX295 is the most powerful that has Mac support, however that looks like it is leaps and bounds ahead of the 8800 according to the graph.

Do they have any of those on Newegg?

what makes a mac one different then a pc one?

i wouldnt even know what to type in the search bar if i wanted hardware for a mac lol.

google: nearest mac store for a brand new mac

So, in my quest to make sure that the card you want will be compatible with your computer. I decided that the best option was the GTX 285 for Mac, because it sounds like it will actually work. Pretty much every site either doesn't sell it, or they sell it for handicappedly expensive. Then I found out that the Nvidia website will tell you where to buy it, and Tiger Direct sells it for around $110.

Almost all Macs have integrated graphics cards.

Good luck.

So do most home computers.
But almost all have a PCI-E port to put a GPU in.
