Author Topic: Xbox 360 headset question(google wont help)  (Read 546 times)

I really want to find a good yet cheap headset that has in-game audio so I can immerse myself into skyrim even more. I was checking best buys site and found a good looking set for 10 bucks. It says it has "stereo" audio which sounds like it means in-game audio. Does stereo audio in headsets mean game audio? I tried Google but only found headsets for sale not any facts about what stereo audio is. I don't have internet at my house so I won't be using much chat so I wanted a headset with hand audio and the headset I got with the Xbox only with for voice chat.

TLDR if a headset has " audio" does that mean you can hear in game sounds?

Headsets I've owned only do it for chat.

Give me a link to the headset.

EDIT: If I had to take a guess "Stereo" probably means in-game sound. You could probably look up reviews for the headset and see what others have to say about it.

Stereo probably means in game sounds. I had a cheap Turtle Beach that I got for pre-ordering Homefront, and it had in game audio.

A cheap Turtle Beach headset can go for about 16 to 25 dollars at WalMart and about 20 to 40 at gamestop.

Lol. Stereo means left and right sound.

However, I don't see how it would make any difference with chat, so it would either be a useless feature or actually work for ingame sound.

turtlebeach headsets most often play ingame sound and have a mic

good looking headset for $10?

lmao
